What data we collect
Contact form. Your first name, last name, email address and the text of your message.
Browsing data. The server hosting the site automatically records in its technical logs your IP address, the date and time of the request and the page visited. We need them to run the site and to protect it from abuse.
The site uses no analytics, advertising pixels or profiling. Fonts are served from our own server, with no connection to Google Fonts or other external services.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and, if you ask, to prepare a quote: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the site running and secure: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Filling in the form is optional, but we cannot reply without an email address. We never use form data for newsletters or promotional messages.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept for as long as we need to handle your request, and no longer than 24 months. If your request turns into a commission, the data we need is kept for the period Italian law sets for accounting and tax records (10 years).
Who processes it for us
We do not sell or share your data. These providers process it on our behalf, as data processors:
- Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, European Union), which hosts the site and its database;
- Google Ireland Ltd., which provides the Gmail inbox that receives the form messages. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Cookies
The site only uses technical cookies that it needs to work, which do not require consent. There are no profiling or third-party cookies, which is why you see no cookie banner. The only other cookies are the WordPress login cookies of the site’s admin area, which only concern the people who manage the site.
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing or receive it in a portable format, or object to its processing (Articles 15-22 GDPR). Just write to boz.designstudio@gmail.com.
If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of the EU country where you live.
Changes
We will update this page if the way the site handles data changes. The date at the top shows the version in force.
